Survivors receive an individualized guidebook containing information tailored for thier specific needs, including treatment details and contacts for continuing care.

Early detection and advances in cancer treatment are helping more and more cancer patients to live longer, healthier lives. The Wenatchee Valley Cancer Treatment Center's Cancer Survivorship Program provides clinical care, education and research opportunities to help patients who have survived cancer.

Our Cancer Survivorship Program is a partnership between Wenatchee Valley Medical Center and The Seattle Cancer Care Alliance. Each patient is provided with a Survivorship Care Program Guidebook for Continued Care, which lists therapy and medical information related to the patient's diagnosis and any possible long-term problems. Our goal is to ensure that each patient stay healthy and informed about their follow-up care opportunities.

Key services provided in survivorship care include:
  • Nutrition counseling
  • Behavioral and mental health services
  • Physical rehabilitation and occupational therapy for lymphedema
  • Educational programs

From a Cancer Survivor...

"The goal is to bring quality to the lives we fought so hard to keep. We want lives that are rich, we want to experience the lives of our children, and we want to be happy."
